This Saturday, January 14, the Tartu KEVEK sports club will host for the 25th time, this time in cooperation with Tartu Kalevi and UT Sports Club in the indoor athletics hall of the University of Tartu and for the first time also outside on the throwing field, a total of nearly 200 athletes from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Great Britain, Ukraine and Kazakhstan . In the masters category, numerous world champions and European champions from Estonia, Mare Külv, Juhan Tennasilm, Lembit Talpsepp, etc., contribute. as well as Valdis Cela from Latvia, Vyautas Zaniauskas from Lithuania, Henrik Gulbinovicja and Gintautas Misevičius, Julien Gittens from Great Britain and two-time world champion Paavo Reilson from Finland. It promises to be a very high-class competition, where the top three athletes in the absolute standings in each field will be determined.
In addition to the masters, a whole number of rising stars of our athletics, such as Õilme Võro, Diana Suuman, Uku-Renek Kronberg, Deniss Šalkauskas, etc., compete outside the competition. Event: Tartu KEVEK 2023. open winter indoor championships.
